Background

The short version.

Twenty-plus years across financial services, telecommunications, higher education and the non-profit sector — the same four worlds El Collabo serves today.

The path ran through enterprise software documentation and training at Redknee, global learning and customer-enablement programs at Huawei, and organizational development at Rogers. Since 2017 it has run through El Collabo, delivering Microsoft 365 and modern workplace transformations for enterprise, SMB, education and non-profit clients across Ontario. Since 2023 he has also taught business software and AI-enabled process design at Centennial College's Business School.

The through-line is unusual and it is the reason this practice exists. Colin builds the thing and trains the people. Copilot, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, Teams and Power Platform on the build side; adoption strategy, workshop facilitation, curriculum and coaching on the enablement side. Most organizations have to hire two different people to cover that ground.

Why the lab and the practice sit together. Advice you cannot build is a slide deck. Software nobody was trained to use is shelfware. Colin has been hired to clean up both — which is why El Collabo refuses to sell you one without the other.
